Made you look is a jewellery store and custom creation facility located in Toronto Canada. Representing a long list of Toronto Jewelers providing custom wedding and engagment rings, repair services and a large inventory of In-House ready made jewellery. The Made You Look brand has been a significant part of jewellery production in Canada. An experienced company which values it's relationships with it's clients and delivers exceptional service.

Made You Look is an award winning designer, manufacturer and retailer of diamond rings, wedding bands, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, gemstone jewelry, pearl necklaces, sterling silver bracelets, pendants, watches, clocks, flatware, silverware and gifts. Made you Look also provides customized services to the Television and Film industry in Canada.

Challenge
Made You Look required assistance executing their website and search marketing campaigns. The Made You Look website was underperforming with it's natural (organic) search engine ranking. The companies pay per click search advertising efforts required greater coordination, including the creation of a Jewellery BLOG featuring selected items from the web as well as the Made You Look Online store.

The Solution
I One Media performed an extensive website and search engine marketing audit to give Made You Look a clearer view of the competitive environment. The audit also provided I One Media SEO and PPC staff with the critical information necessary to build a coherent web marketing plan. In addition, I One Media provided a search engine optimization plan for the Made You Look website.

These SEO recommendations included keywords associated with seasonal events and holidays. All the recommendations proved to be considerable factors in their results. A customized Wordpress Blog was designed and implemented to showcase jewellery produced by the In-House Jewelers. I One Media monitors Google Analytics on a daily basis for the client, AS well as promoting the BLOG through the Facebook Fan page.

The Results
With the combined efforts of website monitoring and maintentnace, the Blog is having a significant impact on the Google Ranking of the website. Sales are increasing on the Made You Look online store, and the website is enjoying a very high page view by the existing and new audience.

Hungry Trout Resort, Wilmington, NY.

Location / Story
This place is stunning - if you like Big Mountains and outdoor activities. The Hungry Trout Resort is located just outside of Lake Placid, NY, USA, 2 minutes from the foot of Whiteface Mountain, a World Class Ski Resort. If Fishing is more your interest, The Hungry Trout is ALSO located right next door to " The Best Fly Fishing in the Eastern United States ". The proprietors Jerry and Anne Botcher are exceptional hosts, and it bears mentioning that the property also boasts one the BEST 5 star restaurants in the area. So when visiting the Hungry Trout Resort you are pretty well covered.

Challenge
Replace the 4 year old website with a complete re-branding of all online visual collateral, and essentially everything else. The old site was a bit weak. It certainly needed work. To its defense it was a bit old, but it missed its mark and the design limited the ability of the site to show off just how stunning this property really is. Following 3 separate visits, which included renting a crane and chartering a small plane to photograph the property from the air - we are slowly accumulating a large repertoire of images to display this beautiful Adirondack Property.

The Solution
Launched in January 2007, with a complete re-branding and website redesign, The Hungry Trout website is getting an exceptionally high Organic Google Ranking and generating new business with its increased online visibility. The unique visits to this page are massive in a year over year comparison. The design of the site allows for a display of large panoramic images and through a sophisticated CSS we simplified the Google Indexing. We are still tweaking some elements, so expect to hear more about this great little piece of the Adirondack Mountains.

Slip Stream Angling.

Location / Story
Slipstream Angling Adventures, based in Toronto Canada, offers extraordinary angling opportunities throughout the world, focusing largely on unique destinations, customized travel itineraries, and corporate functions. The company is committed to service excellence and has been recognized as a key player in the destination travel industry. All of their staff are avid sport fisherman who take their business very seriously.

Challenge
Although several other websites had been published and were generating substantial business, there were several reasons that prompted a consolidation of the multiple brands that fell under the Slip Stream umbrella. Not only had the company expanded it's worldwide reach - now encompassing over 90 destinations in 30 countries, the SSA website had outgrown its original web presence and needed to inject new life into it with a higher caliber and easily expandable destination portfolio. The site required an interface that allowed the presentation of global destinations effectively and was able to visually showcase the large list of fishing and traval opportunities to existing and potential clients.

The Solution
Since the site required new content and incorporation of the new messaging and branding, we approached everything from a fresh perspective - avoiding any elements that were found in the previous websites. After several design revisions and a complete turnaround on the look and feel, we established the final look based on a clean, clear and simple aesthetic to satisfy the clients' promotional requirements.

Another big requirement was to retain or improve the site's search engine ranking. This project could have been created using an entirely Flash Programmed Site in a fraction of the time, but in order to be "search engine friendly", we combined the best of Flash, HTML and XML to construct a sophisticated look, with Google API for easy destination look-up, as well as an active BLOG for the client to easily update from the various destinations they would be visiting. The web component with html copy and embedded XML was designed so that search engines could easily read and catalogue the key content.

The Results
Presently, the updates to the website proved to be a success and have significantly increased overall revenue - year to year. The proposed solutions had been effective and the search engine results are much better than what had been anticipated. The individual destination pages now provide a clearer impression of the fishing opportunities offered by Slip Stream Angling, and as a result, the inquiries they receive are in direct relation to the unique types of clients and destinations they work with. Overall, the client is pleased with the project, having been delivered in a timely manner, within the original budget.
