CAT DAY!!

Last week I had the privilege of spending a day at the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre photographing cats and dogs that are eagerly waiting for adoption. It was more than just a photo session— it was an inspiring reminder of how compassionate and essential this organization is within our community.

The Napanee SPCA is a no-kill shelter, committed to giving every animal the best possible chance at a safe, loving home. Working closely with more than 50 locations across Ontario, the shelter ensures that each animal in its care has optimal placement opportunities, whether locally or through partner locations when a match may be found elsewhere.

What struck me most was the dedication of the staff. This facility is run by a small, highly committed team who care deeply about the wellbeing of animals in their care. From soothing anxious arrivals to celebrating adoption day successes, their passion and professionalism were visible in every interaction.

If you are looking to adopt a pet or support a shelter doing meaningful work, I encourage you to contact the SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre. Their team would be thrilled to help you meet your next companion.
